I have multiple homes! Janesville, WI / Minneapolis, MN 📍 / Austin, TX.

Your home page says you're a futurist. What does that mean?

I wanted a less cringe-y way to say "technologist." I believe accelerating technological progress is the most powerful way to improve the human experience. I want my son to live in the future I dreamed of as a kid, and that will naturally require advancements in frontier tech like nuclear fusion, expansion into low-Earth orbit, robotics, bitcoin, and more.

What do you do for work?

I am currently a product manager at Unchained.

What do you do in that role?

For about 4 years, I helped Unchained grow to help secure over $10 billion in bitcoin as a leader of our support team, and am now fortunate enough to use what I learned in that role to make our product even better.

How long have you worked professionally in bitcoin?

Over 5 years full-time!

Why bitcoin?

Much ink has been spilled attempting to answer this question. I'll refer you to my good friend and colleague, Tom Honzik.

What do you do for fun?

I love to cook great meals for friends, read plenty of science fiction, geek out on watches, and explore with my incredible wife (pictured right) and son (not pictured yet!).

What has been your favorite travel destination to date?

Kyoto, Japan 🇯🇵

Do you know how to code?

Meh. I tell the machine what I want, and sometimes it works. That counts, right?

Midjourney set to V6 (old school, I know) and with "Hiroshi Nagai aesthetic"
